Leslie Zun, MD Receives National Recognition as Top Physician

For a second time, Leslie Zun, MD, Chairman of the Mount Sinai Emergency Medicine Department was named among "America's Top Emergency Medicine Physicians" by the Consumers’ Research Council of America.
Consumers' Research Council of America, a Washington, D.C. based research organization, provides consumers' information guides for professional services throughout America. The designation of "top physician" is published to help consumers choose physicians who are among the best in their specialties.
By definition, the Consumer’s Research Council of America describes emergency medicine as a specialty that diagnoses and treats conditions that require immediate attention -- to include accidents of any sort, illness, trauma, sports injuries, industrial and occupational accidents, poisoning, allergic reactions and heart failure.
Dr. Zun has been with Mount Sinai Hospital as an emergency department physician and as chairman of the department since 1992. He is also chairman of the Emergency Medicine Department of the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science/The Chicago Medical School.
