XIV. FEES
14.1 Fees
In order to underwrite service improvements and educational programs to be sponsored by the Sinai Health System IRB, the SHS IRB charges all sponsored research projects (e.g. where any form of compensation, payments or benefits are provided either by industry or by grants) a fee of $1500 for standard IRB review. The Principal Investigator will either submit the fee prior to the IRB review of the protocol or will provide evidence that the IRB may directly invoice the sponsor for payment of the fee.
